It is our honor to announce that from 2024, New Horizon International Forwarding & Shipping Agents Ltd. belongs to the large family of FIATA – International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations.
FIATA, was established in Vienna in 1926 and is currently based in Geneva. This non-governmental, membership-based organization represents freight forwarders across approximately 150 countries, including 109 Association Members and over 5,500 Individual Members, collectively representing 40,000 firms.
Known as “the global voice of freight transport and logistics,” FIATA is a crucial source of information on international policies and regulations in the industry. It advocates globally for service providers in trade logistics and supply chain management. Through its documents, forms, conferences, training, and publications, FIATA promotes trade facilitation and best practices.
FIATA actively collaborates with the World Trade Organization, United Nations agencies, and other international bodies to support and protect its members’ interests. It is a vital reference for policies and regulations in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. FIATA’s efforts include the digitalization of key trade documents, annual congresses, headquarters meetings, training, and publications to promote trade facilitation and best practices.
